Juice recipes from the most popular ingredients

For our juice recipes for beginners, we have created 10 freshly squeezed juices made from the most popular ingredients, presenting a colorful variety for the whole year. Among them: green juices made from celery or wheatgrass, fruity combinations with pineapple, apple or melon as well as mixed recipes with beet, carrots or fennel. We even included a probiotic sauerkraut shot (more about sauerkraut juice) in our TOP 10 juice recipes. This shot is not only a blessing for the intestinal health, but can also be easily prepared from fresh raw sauerkraut with a slow juicer.

Note: Depending on the juicer model, the amount of juice produced can vary by up to 200 ml or more, as the juice yield is device-dependent and differs significantly. We have developed the recipes with the Sana Juicer 707 as well as the Angel Juicer and noted the respective devices in the instructions.

Prepare juice recipes with a slow juicer

We recommend preparing our juice recipes with a slow juicer. These are juicers that squeeze the juice from leafy greens, vegetables and fruit at just a few revolutions per minute in a way that is extremely gentle on nutrients. This prevents heat-sensitive vitamins or enzymes from being destroyed. In addition, the juicing process with a slow juicer guarantees maximum juice yield and flavor.

Today I made my first juice. Mandarin and apple. I was amazed at how much juice can be extracted from such a small amount of fruit, and it tasted so delicious too. I will now experiment with new combinations every day, thanks to the great recipe book that I chose for free with my delivery. Thank you for that!

Carla von GrüneSmoothies.de
Hello Andreas,

thank you for the lovely feedback on our recipes. I would definitely advise against using the juicer recipes for making smoothies. Especially green ingredients taste much milder when juiced compared to blended with water. Therefore, when juicing, we use a different proportion and quantity of ingredients, as well as different combinations.

Best regards,
Carla

Hello, I was made aware of celery juice by my doctor. For four weeks, I pureed a stalk with water using a hand blender...not necessarily a pleasure. However, I already had the feeling that I was somehow feeling better...more energy, my skin was better. During my research, I came across your website and the 365-day trial. And it stuck with me. I have the EUJ707 for a week now and I am thrilled with how a pressed celery juice tastes. I haven't tried any other recipes yet, but I looked through the attached book yesterday. Tomorrow, I will try adding ginger, and the recipe with cucumber and lemon is always doable since I already have them in the fridge. Thank you also for the quick processing of the order. Greetings from the south, Susanne

Hello Susanne,

A fresh celery juice from a juicer is, of course, different from the "hand blender version" you described...

Now that you have a Sana 707, I highly recommend trying out other juice recipes as well. It's worth it!

Carla

Atoosa
Hi,
a quick question. Everywhere it says: "Add the ingredients little by little into the filler chute and press to the pressing unit with the associated stopper. When no more juice comes out of the juice outlet, the juice is ready". I have the Vitamix and usually run the smoothie program. Do you mean something different by the above sentence?

Kind Regards

Hello Atoosa,

thank you for your question.
The preparation instructions refer to juice recipes that you can make with a slow juicer and not with a blender :)

Sandy W.
Hello,

do you have to add a dash of oil to the juices so that the nutrients can be better absorbed by the body?
Greetings,
Sandy
11/5/2021
Carla von GrüneSmoothies.de
Dear Sandy,

We don't do this because we assume that enough fat has been consumed before or after the juices, which would be sufficient to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins. However, if this is important to you, you can simply add a dash of oil.

Best regards,
Carla

Hello, dear two girls,

I personally prefer the following juices, listed in order of preference:
Carrot juice = Priority A
Beetroot juice = Priority B (due to iron deficiency)
Watermelon juice = Priority C

It's a shame that you forgot to include the calorie count for most juice recipes.

Thank you for the great juice recipes! It would be really nice if you could also mention each time whether the coarse or fine sieve is better for juicing... (I have a Greenstar Tribest Pro).
3/31/2021
Carla von GrüneSmoothies.de
Dear Jenny,

Thank you very much for your feedback. We used the fine sieve for all the juices - however, they were made either with the Angel Juicer or the Sana Juicer 707. I would also recommend trying it with the Greenstar Pro using the fine sieve.

Kind regards,
Carla

Judith
Good morning. I have a Vitamix and no juicer. Why should we even drink juice when we can also consume the solid components with the smoothie? It's actually a shame to lose them with juice, right? I assume I can use the juice recipes in the Vitamix as well if I add water, right? Best regards, Judith.
1/12/2021
Carla von GrüneSmoothies.de
Dear Judith,

Thank you very much for your comment. We think that both green smoothies and freshly pressed juices are great. Sometimes we drink more smoothies, and other times we prefer juices. Green smoothies are more suitable as meal replacements because, as you rightly mentioned, they retain everything, including the satisfying fiber. On the other hand, we can enjoy juices with predominantly greener ingredients, meaning more leafy greens and green vegetables, and less fruit. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend our juicing recipes for making smoothies.

Best regards,
Carla
